Teammates offer opinions on latest Maty Mauk situation
The tumultuous career of Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk has taken yet another turn.
On Monday, a video surfaced of Mauk purportedly snorting a white powdery substance. Missouri swiftly reacted -- suspending the Ohio native for the third time in the last year.
This situation has obviously drawn the interest and opinions of many -- particularly when it comes to the Missouri football program. Multiple teammates of Mauk took to social media to discuss their thoughts on the current situation Mauk is embroiled in.
Mauk drew support from linebacker Michael Scherer, defensive lineman Harold Brantley, and receiver Keyon Dilosa on Twitter.

Dilosa and Scherer lambasted the video, insinuating it was from years ago and not from the present day.
At the Senior Bowl practice, former offensive linemen Connor McGovern and Evan Boehm gave their thoughts on the situation, via an interview with SEC Country.
"He's got some things to fix that are bigger than football, said McGovern. "He needs to work on that, and he will. He's a smart kid. He just kinda needs to change some of his decisions."

Boehm offered a similar sentiment.
"I wish the best for the kid, and I hope something happens. He's a great kid and I love him to death, but...I also just feel for him right now."
At this point, there's no word on whether Mauk will indeed rejoin the football team at a later date.
