CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) North Carolina reserve quarterback Caleb Henderson is transferring.
Team spokesman Bobby Hundley said Saturday in an email to The Associated Press that the redshirt sophomore had left the program. Henderson was competing against redshirt freshman Nathan Elliott for the No. 2 job behind starter Mitch Trubisky.
Henderson tweeted Saturday that transferring ''was a family decision'' and ''had nothing to do with football.''
He appeared in two games last year and threw one incompletion.
