FARGO, N.D. (AP) Taryn Christion found Jake Wieneke for a 2-yard touchdown with 1 second left on fourth down and South Dakota State beat FCS defending champion North Dakota State 19-17 on Saturday to snap the Bison's 14-game winning streak.

It was the Bison's first defeat since a 24-21 loss to South Dakota on Oct. 17, 2015.

South Dakota State was down 17-3 after Easton Stick scrambled 26 yards for a third-quarter touchdown to give North Dakota State to a 17-3 advantage. But Christion brought the Jackrabbits back.

Christion connected with Dallas Goedert, who finished with 11 catches for 150 yards, for a 12-yard touchdown pass to pull to 17-10. Chase Vinatieri kicked a 42-yard field goal in the fourth quarter and Christion hit Wieneke with a 25-yard pass to the Bison 11 to set up the game-winning score.
