South Carolina coach Elliott is a fan of 'Rocky Top'

"Fraternizing with the enemy" is a big no-no for super-competitive people within the sporting world.

This could include having a healthy respect for an opponent, but keeping interactions to a minimum. Being married to the enemy is another topic altogether, with lines being blurred considerably. As is the case for South Carolina interim coach Shawn Elliott, he's married to the enemy (at least for this week).

The Gamecocks are traveling to Knoxville to take on the Tennessee Volunteers. Elliott's wife is from Chattanooga, and his entire clan of in-laws are Vols.

In fact, Elliott doesn't mind the beloved anthem "Rocky Top" at all, saying "I think it's kinda neat."

He'll get a considerable dose of "Rocky Top" this upcoming Saturday, with the high frequency with which its boomed throughout Neyland Stadium.

Don't be surprised if the camera's catch Elliott humming along with the tune.
