Tulsa is expected to dismiss head coach Bill Blankenship this weekend, a source told FOX Sports.

The 57-year-old Blankenship, an old Tulsa quarterback, won 19 games in his first two seasons in charge of the Golden Hurricane, but is just 5-18 the past two years. Tulsa has lost nine of the last 10 games and rank 118th in scoring and 97th in defense.

Blankenship will coach his final game for the school Friday night when the Hurricane host East Carolina.

The school's coaching search will begin this coming week.
