Someone voted Tide receiver Amari Cooper for Alabama governor

Tuesday is Alabama's general election. Among other posts, citizens are voting for governor.

The two heavyweights on the ballot for that job are Democrat Parker Griffith -- a former Army reservist doctor and member of the House of Representatives -- and incumbent Republican Robert Bentley.

Of course, there is also a write-in spot.

And thank goodness there is a write-in spot.

Because one man decided to give college football fans a good laugh -- at the expense of his vote -- by penning the name of the Crimson Tide's star receiver into the box:
