Initial reports from WBRZ Baton Rouge Wednesday claimed an unidentified member of LSU's football team had been taken to the hospital following a summer training session at the team's indoor facility.
Following that report, The Advocate cites two sources as saying the player is freshman running back Derrius Guice and that the hospital visit may be precautionary in nature.
Guice was a five-star recruit in the Tigers' 2015 recruiting class and was regarded as one of the top running backs in the entire nation before signing with LSU.
