Report: 4-star Oregon RB commit Malepeai visits USC

Four-star running back Vavae Malepeai has been committed to Oregon for some time. However, a late visit to USC could change his plans.

According to a report by Justin Hopkins of 247 Sports, Malepeai took a late visit to USC recently. This situation is eerily reminiscent of De'Anthony Thomas' 2011 late visit to Oregon, a visit that eventually led Thomas to choosing Oregon over USC.

The 6-foot, 190-pound back holds the career record for rushing yards in the state of Hawaii.
