PSU's Anthony Zettel wants another win over home-state Wolverines

Penn State defensive tackle Anthony Zettel has a chance to double his pleasure this weekend against Michigan.

The West Branch, Mich., native wants to finish out a perfect season at Beaver Stadium and earn peace of mind for future trips back to his home state.

"It would mean everything. Coming from Michigan, I'm not saying I have a little hate, but just a little competition factor, just from Michigan State and Michigan are both great teams, and then they're also in the Big Ten too, so that's a Big Ten win," Zettel told reporters in State College this week.

Zettel, who said in July he almost ended up going to Michigan State, was an All-Big Ten performer last season and has logged 10.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks this season.

Penn State has split the last two games with the Wolverines with Zettel snagging an interception in both games.

"I think just from being a competitive person, I always want to go home with that win, not for bragging rights, but just kind of just to for everybody to know that we beat them," Zettel said.

"Also, Penn State's a huge program, so are they. So just two big programs coming together and clashing and going to war, it's going to be a phenomenal game."
