Notre Dame WR Corey Robinson nominated for national service award
Notre Dame wide receiver Corey Robinson is among the eight semifinalists for the 2015 Wuerffel Trophy, a community service award.
A junior from San Antonio, Robinson has caught eight passes for 98 yards and a touchdown this season for the Fighting Irish.
The Wuerffel Trophy is named for former Florida quarterback Danny Wuerffel.
Also nominated for the award this year are Baylor offensive lineman Spencer Drango, Duke kicker Ross Martin, Indiana quarterback Nate Sudfeld, Kentucky punter Landon Foster, New Mexico offensive lineman Garrett Adcock, Oklahoma offensive lineman Ty Darlington and Toledo tight end Alex Zmolik.
