Northern Colorado to play at Florida, Colorado in 2017

(STATS) - Northern Colorado will play at Florida and Colorado as part of an 11-game 2017 schedule announced Thursday.

The Bears will be facing two FBS opponents in the same season for the first time since joining the Big Sky Conference in 2006. The trip to Florida will be the program's first game against an SEC opponent.

The Bears will play five home games, starting with the season opener Sept. 2 against the College of Idaho and continuing with Big Sky games against Idaho State, Montana State, Southern Utah and Cal Poly.
