No PSU offer? 'Get mad at your parents,' Franklin says

James Franklin had a hard truth for parents of attendees of the Nittany Lions' one-day camp Sunday. 

“Genetics plays a role in how good your son is going to be,” Penn State's head coach said, per StateCollege.com. 

“If a kid who’s 5-9 comes up to me and wants to play the offensive line and didn’t get (a Penn State) offer I’ll tell him, ‘Don’t get mad at me. Get mad at your parents. Your mom shouldn’t have married your dad.’ ”

Harsh? Probably. 

But true? Well, that seems pretty likely, too.
