Nike to release five SEC team-specific sneakers

Nike is giving some SEC fans a chance to complete their team apparel selection.

According to Saturday Down South, Nike will be releasing on Wednesday its "Week Zero" collection of the Free Trainer 5.0 sneakers, which will feature team-specific colors and designs for 13 college football teams, including five from the SEC: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee.

The shoes display the team logo on the tongue and have patterns and logos around the sides and heels that correspond to the specific team. A picture of the LSU shoes was released last month on Twitter:

The sneakers reportedly will retail at $110 and be available at Champs Sports stores and Eastbay. They will be available regionally, based on the team's location, rather than nationwide.
