WASHINGTON (AP) Cody Williams threw for two scores and four running backs also had touchdowns as Monmouth (NJ) topped Howard 59-27 on Saturday.
Williams had 188 yards passing for the Hawks (4-2). Michael Jolly and Ed Royds each broke 100 yards rushing with two touchdowns apiece and Zach Welch and Lavon Chaney each ran for a score.
Williams threw a pair of touchdowns in the first half - one for 20 yards to Reggie White Jr. and a 22-yarder to Darren Ambush - and the Hawks led 31-14 at the break.
Royds opened the second half with an 82-yard touchdown run and Jolly followed three minutes later with a 38-yard score to make it 45-14 with 10:23 left in the third. Then Jolly took it 78 yards for another touchdown to stretch it to 52-14.
Anthony Philyaw rushed for 234 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Bison (1-5).
