Marist defeats Davidson 31-10 for fourth-straight win

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) Juston Christian caught six passes for 136 yards and a touchdown - his third straight 100-yard receiving game - and Marist defeated Davidson 31-10 continuing its hot start in Pioneer League play on Saturday.

The Red Foxes, on a four-game streak, improve to 4-3 and are 4-0 in the Pioneer for the first time.

Mike White completed 16 of 25 passes for 262 yards and two touchdowns, teaming with the sophomore Christian on an 83-yard score. The Red Foxes outgained Davidson 472-242 in total yards.

Freshman Stockton McGuire went 8 for 23 for 97 yards for Davidson (2-6, 0-5) and was intercepted twice. It was his roughest game of the season, coming a week after his career-high 273 yards against Butler. Kahleel Shaw scored the Wildcats lone touchdown with a 3-yard carry in the fourth quarter.
