LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) Kentucky will start Luke Wright will start at quarterback against Austin Peay, giving the sophomore transfer his first extensive action as the team tries to become bowl eligible.

Wildcats spokesman Tony Neely announced the switch before Saturday's game. He also said Stephen Johnson, who injured his knee in last week's loss at Tennessee, is available in an emergency against the FCS Governors (0-10).

Johnson relieved an injured Drew Barker against New Mexico State on Sept. 17 and has led Kentucky (5-5) to a 5-3 record as the QB, including 4-3 as a starter.

The Wildcats are trying to reach their first bowl game since 2010 against Austin Peay, which has lost 26 straight.
