Louisville Football vs. Marshall: Predictions for Saturday's game

Louisville football is taking their number three ranking on the road to face the Marshall Thundering Herd on Saturday night.
Lamar Jackson and head coach Bobby Petrino have put the Louisville football program back on the college football map. After three straight wins to being the 2016 season, the Cardinals are looking to continue their hot streak down in West Virginia on Saturday.
Marshall is going into this contest against Louisville with a 1-1 record to start the season. Last weekend, the Herd lost a 65-38 game to the Akron Zips, which doesn’t give anyone much confidence in their defense entering this weekend.
For the first three games of the 2016 season, we have predicted the score of the games and have come way short of Louisville’s total. Well, this week that’s going to change as you can see below the prediction for this week’s game at Marshall:

Lamar Jackson will do the exact same thing this week as he did to Florida State last week, except he should have a better game passing the football. Look for James Quick and Jamari Staples to have big games this weekend as they will be up against corners that aren’t ready to compete at their level.
I don’t know about you, but I definitely feel like Louisville has an opportunity to get 5-6 sacks in this game. Marshall quarterback Chase Litton is not a guy who is going to beat you with his feet and his offensive line should struggle all evening to slow down Louisville’s amazing pass rush.
The Cardinal’s have a deep rotation of guys they have been using throughout the first three games and they will have more than enough opportunities in this game as well.
Louisville wins this one big on the road and will begin preparing for a monumental showdown in Clemson next weekend.
