Louisville Football: Gary Barnidge staying consistent despite Browns' loss
Former Louisville football player Gary Barnidge had one of his best games of the 2016 season for the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
Things are not going well for the Cleveland Browns this year as they are now 0-7 after a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. However, that doesn’t mean that former Louisville Football player Gary Barnidge isn’t doing his part to help the Browns win this season.

Unlike the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Cavaliers, the Browns have been terrible all season long and that is because they have gone through quarterbacks like hot-cakes at Waffle House this year. To put that into perspective for you, Cleveland has had at least six different players line up at quarterback this season because of injuries. That is definitely not a recipe for success.
However, there has been one guy on the Browns’ roster that has been stable throughout the injuries and that is the former Louisville-product Gary Barnidge.
Barnidge had another solid day in the Browns 31-17 loss and led the team in receptions and receiving yards.
Gary Barnidge: 6 receptions, 66 receiving yards, 11 yards per catch, 7 targets
The Browns are well in front to be picking first overall in next year’s draft and hopefully they can find Barnidge a real quarterback. He had well over 1,000 yards receiving last season, but that kind of production is hard to keep up if you are constantly changing quarterbacks.
