Mike Brown passed for two touchdowns and rushed for two more Saturday as Liberty routed Stony Brook 54-28.

Brown completed 20 of 31 passes for 334 yards, including touchdowns of 65 and 79 yards to Pat Kelly.

Brown also ran for touchdowns of 15 and 2 yards, but it was Matt Bevins' 50-yard field goal that finally gave the Flames (8-3, 5-1 Big South Conference) the lead for good, 30-28, with 8:24 left in the third quarter.

Bevins' field goal was the first of 27 unanswered points the Flames scored to pull away from the Seawolves (6-5, 5-1). Michael Coulter had thrown two touchdown passes and Miguel Maysonet had run for two touchdowns until Liberty's final spurt on offense.
