LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) The son of LSU coach Les Miles says he's going to Nebraska to play his college football in 2017.

Ben Miles, one of the top-rated fullbacks in the nation, announced his pledge on Twitter on Sunday. Miles, who will be a senior this fall at Catholic High in Baton Rouge, picked Nebraska over offers from LSU, Michigan State and Boston College, among others.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Miles attended Nebraska spring game in April. Coach Mike Riley has said the fullback would have a more extensive role as his offense evolves at Nebraska. Riley on Sunday tweeted, ''Big time news this afternoon out of Louisiana for the (hash)Huskers!''

Manny Miles, Les Miles' other son, is a redshirt freshman quarterback at North Carolina.
