Holley's 4 rush TDs leads Kent State over Buffalo 44-20

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) Nick Holley rushed for 224 yards on 24 carries with four touchdowns - tying a team record with six other players - and Kent State handled Buffalo 44-20 on Saturday.

Holley also completed 7 of 13 passes for 89 yards. The Golden Flashes (2-4, 1-1 Mid-American) build a 20-3 halftime lead on Holley's 67-yard touchdown run and a 15-yard fumble recovery by James Alexander just before intermission.

Holley had a 3-yard touchdown run in the third, then scoring runs of 2 and 43 yards in the fourth quarter. Shane Hynes added field goals of 31, 43 and 32 yards.

Buffalo (1-4, 0-1) was led by Tyree Jackson, who went 20 of 39 for 250 yards and a 1-yard touchdown pass to Johnathan Hawkins, and also rushed for 40 yards and a 1-yard touchdown.
