Freshman RB Guice playing his way into rotation at LSU (VIDEO)
At this point everyone knows the LSU offense runs through Leonard Fournette, as the Tigers' super sophomore is among the favorites to capture the Heisman Trophy this season. However, don't rule out LSU handing out a number of carries to Fournette's backups in order to keep him fresh down the stretch. One player in particular has shown he deserves a shot to see the field.
Freshman Derrius Guice could be the team's second leading rusher after all is said and done this season. Check out this highlight run from a recent LSU scrimmage and you'll see the talent Guice possesses:

Guice was rated among the top 50 high school players in the nation last season and was a U.S. Army All-American participant. It appears the drop off from first-team running back to second-string won't be as significant as some might imagine this season.
