Ex-coach calls his ban from Penn State facilities 'wrong'
BELLEFONTE, Pa. (AP) The former Penn State assistant football coach suing university says he was angered when told he couldn't return to team facilities after being put on leave the week Jerry Sandusky was charged with child molestation.
Mike McQueary testified Friday in the fifth day of trial in his lawsuit. He's seeking more than $4 million in lost wages and other claims.
He says officials let Sandusky use facilities for years after they got two complaints about Sandusky showering with boys, including McQueary's own report in 2001.
He's arguing it was unfair to tell ''the guy who turned in a pedophile'' to stay away from football team properties in November 2011.
He also says the only school official who gave him any support that week was head coach Joe Paterno.
