Leading the Bulldogs to the verge of another 10-win season, head coach Dan Mullen is understandably a wanted commodity for any school currently without a head football coach.

Mullen has been linked to a number of jobs in the past calendar year, from Michigan to USC and now Virginia Tech rumors have even been thrown out there.

During his Monday press conference, Mullen was asked for his response to the coaching rumors. His response is sure to have Hail State fans everywhere breathing a sigh of relief.

"I don't like commenting on other jobs just because it's a waste of time," Mullen said. "I love the one that I have. Not much else on it besides that."

Mullen received a contract extension following 2014's 10-win season, which made him the 16th highest paid coach in the nation at $4 million earned for the 2015 campaign.

"Maybe four or five years ago, that was always a big worry for everybody. But this happens every year," Mullen said. 'I'll tell you, as always, you're either getting fired or you're getting hired. I'll always take getting hired. It means we're winning and doing well."
