JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) Derrick Craine rushed for three touchdowns and Chattanooga handled East Tennessee State 37-7 on Saturday.

Craine's first touchdown, a 1-yard plunge in the second quarter, capped a six-play, 81-yard drive. In the third quarter, a punt and interference penalty set up a short field and Craine's 2-yard touchdown run six plays later made it 24-0. A fumble on the ensuing kickoff gave the Mocs (5-0, 2-0 Southern Conference) the ball at the ETSU 1, and Craine's third score came on the next play.

Craine finished with 63 yards on 19 carries. Eight different Mocs rushed for 217 yards and five touchdowns. Chattanooga outgained ETSU 397-132 and led in first downs 24-11.

ETSU (2-2, 1-1) got a fourth-quarter 11-yard touchdown pass from Nick Sexton to Dalton Ponchillia.
