Coastal RB Henderson a 'game-time decision'

Updated Mar. 5, 2020 1:27 a.m. ET

(STATS) - Coastal Carolina is listing injured running back De'Angelo Henderson's playing status as a likely game-time decision heading into Saturday's Homecoming game against Central Connecticut State.

The fifth-year senior left a win over Gardner-Webb with a shoulder injury last weekend.

Henderson, a member of the STATS FCS Offensive Player of the Year Watch List, has scored a touchdown in 32 straight games - a Division I record. He would need to score a TD in each of Coastal's final six games to tie Danny Woodhead's NCAA all-division record of 38 games, set at Division II Chadron State from 2004-07.

Henderson is averaging 130.7 rushing yards per game and has scored 12 touchdowns for No. 17 Coastal Carolina (4-2). He is backed by senior Kenneth Daniels, who has rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries this season.
