Coastal QB Stilley's season in doubt

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 8:18 p.m. ET

(STATS) - Coastal Carolina hasn't decided on a quarterback for Saturday's home game against Furman, but the 17th-ranked Chanticleers know it won't be sophomore Josh Stilley.

Coach Joe Moglia said on his weekly radio show Monday night there is a "pretty reasonable chance" Stilley will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury, which he suffered in a 27-26 loss at Jacksonville State this past Saturday.

The Chanticleers (2-1) used three quarterbacks in place of their starter. Junior Tyler Keane had the most success, completing 8 of 15 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown. He is currently slotted at No. 1 over redshirt freshman Austin Bradley.

Freshman Avery McCall, who also played against Jacksonville State, won't play this week because of a hand injury.

Furman is 0-3, having lost to Michigan State and the 2015 Southern Conference co-champions, The Citadel and Chattanooga.
