BYU gets ready for camp with epic lip-sync battle

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 5:11 p.m. ET

The BYU football team is ready for battle — of the lip-sync variety, anyway.

The Cougars officially opened their 2014 season with a team dinner at head coach Bronco Mendenhall's house Thursday night that involved no shortage of team bonding.

The players fully committed to the lip-syncing shenanigans, showing off their stellar dance moves and knowledge of some guilty-pleasure tunes, as well.

The guys got down to Justin Bieber, Michael Jackson, NSYNC and Run-DMC, among others, but it was Katy Perry that proved to be the artist that was really in their wheelhouse.

Killed it, boys.

If this is any indication for the success they'll experience on the gridiron (it probably isn't) then BYU is in for a remarkable season.
