Boise State vs San Jose State live stream: Watch Broncos vs Spartans online
Here’s how you can watch Friday’s Boise State vs San Jose State game online.
Coming off a staggering loss to Wyoming, Boise State (7-1, 3-1) is the Sisyphus of the college football playoff world: they strain to push their pigskin boulder up the mountain, and just as soon as they can see the top, they lose their footing, then their grip . . . and there goes the ball, back down the mountain. Or in this case, out of the back of the end zone.
Enough of that. Quarterback Brett Rypien has to forget about what happened in Laramie. Time to refocus. He still has wide receiver Thomas Sperbeck to catch passes, and Sperbeck is just one reception away from 200 in his career at Boise State.
Plus, running back Jeremy McNichols still stands, along with his 1,058 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns, in the backfield. The wrecking ball shoulders and high voltage feet of McNichols help to ease the panic in Boise, but the Broncos are going to need help (and at least a couple Wyoming conference losses) to get back to the top of the mountain in the Mountain West.
On the other side will be the Spartans. Even after a 30-24 victory over UNLV, San Jose State (3-6, 2-3) has more losses than wins this season. Senior quarterback Kenny Potter has been inconsistent–sharp one game, teetering the next. Even so, Potter has 11 touchdown passes this season, two of them coming against the Rebels last weekend.
Wide receivers Tim Crawley and Tre Hartley also look to repeat their performances from this past Saturday. Both transcended 100 yards receiving against UNLV and will need to do similarly this Friday if the Spartans hope to upset the Broncos.
The good Kenny Potter must show up, too, especially because San Jose State as a team has only rushed for 266 more yards than Jeremy McNichols has all by himself–and the Spartan runners needed 160 more carries to do it.

Looking to rebound, Boise State is fortunate to be facing a team they should be able to beat. A great many things must go right for San Jose State to win on the blue turf. But, as with so many things in college football, you just never know. As the old cliche goes, that’s why they play the game.
