DAYTON, Ohio (AP) Michael Karena scored 17 points with seven rebounds and Wright State held off Northern Kentucky 67-64 on Saturday.

Wright State held a small lead most of the game. Northern Kentucky drew to within three, 62-59, with 4:11 left after a 3-point play by Jake Giesler. With 44 seconds to go, NKU's Tyler White made a pair of free throws to make it a one-point game.
