UC Santa Barbara shots 55 percent, beats CS Fullerton 80-62

FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) John Green and Michael Bryson scored 19 points apiece and UC Santa Barbara cruised to an 80-62 victory over Cal State Fullerton on Saturday night for its sixth-straight win.
Bryson made five 3-pointers and has 223 for his career, breaking James Powell's program record by two. The Gauchos (15-12, 9-5 Big West), who have won four straight on the road, shot 55 percent overall and 52 percent on 13-of-25 shooting from long range.
Tre Coggins had 24 points to lead Cal State Fullerton (10-18, 3-12).
The Gauchos had a 17-0 run in the first half and built a 41-30 halftime lead. Tim Myles made a layup to pull the Titans to 41-32 early in the second half. UC Santa Barbara answered with three straight 3-pointers, two by Bryson and one by Vincent, to push its lead to 50-32 with 17 minutes left and they cruised from there.
