Thomas' 18 points helps Bradley upset Indiana State, 63-58

PEORIA, Ill. (AP) Donte Thomas scored 18 points and Bradley converted eight straight free-throw attempts in the final minute to upset Indiana State, 63-58 for the Braves' second Missouri Valley Conference win Saturday night.

Khristian Smith knotted it at 55-55 with a free throw, but Thomas and Ronnie Suggs gave Bradley a four-point lead from the line. Smith got the Sycamores within one with a 3-point play with 27 seconds left, but Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye and Suggs each hit two free throws to put the game away.

Luuk van Bree scored 15 points and Suggs added 10 for Bradley (4-21, 2-10), which converted 21 of 32 attempts (65.6 percent) from the free-throw line and was 20 of 46 from the field (43.5 percent).

Davonte Brown scored 16 points and Smith chipped in 12 for Indiana State (13-11, 7-5).
