OLEAN, N.Y. (AP) St. Bonaventure men's basketball coach Mark Schmidt has agreed to a one-year contract extension that locks him up through the 2021-22 season.
Athletic director Tim Kenney announced Wednesday that Schmidt and his staff have also earned pay raises, which are being funded through private donations.
Schmidt has a 146-132 record in nine seasons with the Atlantic 10 Conference program. Last year, Schmidt was voted A-10 coach of the year after the Bonnies went 22-9 to match a school record for regular-season victories. They also set a school record with 14 conference wins.
The Bonnies have made three postseason appearances under Schmidt, including an NCAA Tournament berth in 2012.
