Seton Hall senior Jeremy Hazell is healthy again and will play Wednesday night against DePaul.

Coach Kevin Willard announced that Hazell decided to return after lengthy consultations with medical experts about his left wrist, and talking over his future with his family.

Hazell broke a bone in his left wrist in a game against Alabama on Nov. 19. The guard had surgery days later.

Hazell has been practicing with the team. He had to option to request a medical redshirt because he was injured early in the season, but opted to return.

''We are extremely happy with the decision that Jeremy and his family made to return to the court this season,'' Willard said in a statement. ''He has meant so much to the Seton Hall community over the last four years. We're looking forward to have him back in uniform tonight.''

Hazell also was shot under his right arm on Christmas when someone tried to rob him while he was home in New York City for the holiday weekend. He spent a night in the hospital for observation and was released.

The preseason All-Big East selection is tied for seventh on Seton Hall's career scoring list with 1,861 points, 633 behind leader Terry Dehere.

Hazell's injury occurred during the second half of Seton Hall's 83-78 victory over Alabama in the first round of the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam. He scored 27 points in that game.
