Kareem Maddox scored 20 points and Dan Mavraides scored all 14 of his during a late comeback as Princeton moved into first place in the Ivy League with a 66-61 victory over Columbia on Saturday night.

It was the 11th win in 12 games for the Tigers (22-5, 10-1), who have a half-game lead over Harvard, which lost to Yale. Princeton completed a 12-0 home season and beat the Lions (14-12, 5-7) at home for the 18th straight time.

Columbia led 50-44 with 7:07 remaining before a 13-3 run by Princeton, which included nine points by Mavraides, gave the Tigers a 57-53 lead with 3:29 left.

Three free throws cut Princeton's margin to 57-56, but a 3-pointer and a jumper by Mavraides helped the Tigers build their lead back to six points, 64-58, with 29 seconds to play.
