TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) Jamel Artis' 3-pointer with 33 seconds remaining helped Pittsburgh rally for a 74-72 victory over Florida State on Saturday.
Ryan Luther missed a layup but grabbed his own rebound and kicked it out to Artis, who nailed a 3-pointer near the top of the key from the left side.
Artis and Sterling Smith led the Panthers (16-3, 5-2 ACC) with 16 points each while James Robinson added 14 and Michael Young 13.
Florida State (12-7, 2-5) led for most of the game but could not maintain it after Malik Beasley fouled out. The freshman guard led the Seminoles with 16 points but fouled out with 2: 24 remaining and the Seminoles leading 67-65.
