NY Knicks Coaches Praise Former Blue Devil Marshall Plumlee
Undrafted Duke center Marshall Plumlee has really impressed the New York Knicks coaching staff during the NBA preseason.
Former Blue Devil Marshall Plumlee was recently praised by the New York Knicks coaching staff for his hard work and effort so far in the NBA preseason. Check out more information at the link below:
Marshall Plumlee played a key role on the Blue Devils’ 2015 National Championship team. He had a career year as a senior which helped him improve his NBA prospect, averaging 8.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.6 blocks, and 0.8 steals in 30.5 minutes per game.
Plumlee was undrafted out of Duke in the NBA Draft but was able to sign a guaranteed contract with the Knicks as a rookie free agent. The 7-0 center competed with the Knicks in the summer league and is currently playing with the team in training camp and preseason games. Marshall Plumlee will be competing for playing time as a back-up center behind Joakim Noah. So far this preseason he leads the team with a 66.7% field goal percentage and has averaged 4.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.
