Northern Kentucky dismisses Lipscomb 77-60

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (AP) Tyler White scored 18 points with seven rebounds and Northern Kentucky dismissed Lipscomb 77-60 on Saturday.

The Norse shot 56.5 percent from the floor, including 11 of 21 beyond the arc, and outrebounded Lipscomb 33-24. Jalen Billups had 15 points and Deontae Cole added 11, including 3-of-3 shooting on 3-pointers.

Northern Kentucky (10-13, 4-4 Atlantic Sun) raced out to a 25-7 lead - with 3-pointers from White and Todd Johnson - over the first 10 minutes of the game. White's trey as time expired on the half gave the Norse a 41-20 lead at the break.

A 10-1 run to open the second lifted Northern Kentucky to a 30-point lead and the Norse cruised to the win.

Lipscomb (10-13, 4-4) was led by Josh Williams with 21 points. Malcolm Smith had 15 and Aaron Korn added 11.
