North Dakota 91, Texas-Pan American 82
Josh Schuler scored 19 points and North Dakota shot a season-high 62 percent from the field en route to a 91-82 victory over Texas-Pan American on Thursday.
Schuler, who hit all five of his 3-point attempts, was one of four freshmen in double figures for the Fighting Sioux (9-10, 2-1 Great West). Brandon Brekke added 17 points and 11 rebounds, Troy Huff had 15 points and Aaron Anderson had 13.
Aaron Urbanus and Ruben Cabrera scored 20 points each for Texas-Pan American (3-18, 0-4), which lost for the 12th straight time despite shooting 49 percent from the field and hitting 12 of 19 3-pointers. Brandon Provost and Jared Maree each had 13 points for the Broncs.
North Dakota also hit 12 3-pointers - a season high - in 19 attempts.
Schuler's first 3-pointer sparked a 14-2 run midway through the first half that gave North Dakota its largest lead of the game at 27-14.
