New Hampshire 55, Holy Cross 52

Tyrone Conley scored 16 points and Ferg Myrick added 14 to help New Hampshire come from behind to beat Holy Cross 55-52 on Saturday night.

The Wildcats (3-0) trailed 52-51 with 33 seconds left to play before Conley nailed a 3-pointer to put New Hampshire in front 54-52.

Devin Brown missed a layup that would have pulled the Crusaders (0-3) even with 18 seconds left. Mike Cavataio pulled down the rebound for Holy Cross, but also missed the potential game-tying layup.

Myrick grabbed the rebound and Jordon Bronner hit one of two free throws to put the Wildcats up 55-52 with 13 seconds left.

Holy Cross called a timeout with 9 seconds left, but Andrew Beinert missed a 3-pointer to seal the victory for New Hampshire.

The Wildcats won despite shooting 20 for 59 (33.9 percent) from the floor.

Brown led the Crusaders with 16 points.
