Nelson-Henry leads Penn to 79-74 win over Brown

PHILADELPHIA (AP) Darien Nelson-Henry scored 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds to help Penn beat Brown 79-74 Friday night.

Jackson Donahue added 16 points, Sam Jones scored 15 and Matt Howard 14 for Penn. Darnell Foreman finished with 11 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds - all of which at least tied career highs.

Tavon Blackmon made 1 of 2 free throws to pull Brown (7-16, 2-7 Ivy League) within one with 2:43 remaining.

Jones hit a 3-pointer and Foreman made 6 of 6 free-throw attempts during a 9-2 run that gave Penn (10-12, 4-4) a 78-71 lead with 28 seconds to go and the Quakers held on from there.

Freshman Obi Okolie scored a career-high 23 on 9-of-13 shooting for Brown. Cedric Kuakumensah had 14 points and 10 rebounds while Steven Spieth added 12 and nine.

Penn hit a season-high tying 12 3s on 27 attempts.
