Redshirt senior Anthony Mason Jr. will miss the next 4-to-6 weeks while he recovers after re-aggravating a hamstring injury during a weekend practice. Mason, a 6-foot-7 swingman, missed all but three games last season after having surgery for a torn peroneal tendon in his right foot. Red Storm coach Norm Roberts said Tuesday that Mason originally injured his hamstring before St. John's four-game trip to Canada over Labor Day Weekend. Mason was an All-Big East honorable mention pick as a junior in 2007-08, when he led the Red Storm in scoring at 14.0 points per game. He is sixth on St. John's career 3-point list with 109 in 80 games.
