Leslie free throws put Cal St. Fullerton over Pacific 78-77

FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) Lionheart Leslie made two free throws in the final seconds to give Cal State Fullerton a 78-77 edge over Pacific on Saturday night.

With Pacific leading by one, 77-76, Leslie went to the line to shoot two with three seconds to play. He sank the first to tie it up and the second to give the Titans (3-5) the win, snapping a five-game skid.

Pacific led 73-72 with 2:06 to play but in the final two minutes, the lead changed hands four times before the foul on Pacific's K.J. Smith sent Leslie to the line.

Pacific had a 40-29 advantage at the break.

Leslie and Tre Coggins both finished with 21 points and five rebounds. Kyle Allman chipped in 12 points off the bench.

Ray Bowles scored 22 points for the Tigers (3-4). K.J. Smith added 17 points and four assists and Jack Williams had 12 points and three rebounds.
