Kentucky made its case for the No. 1 ranking on Tuesday with a double-digit win over reigning national champion and top-5 team, Duke.

After this week, the Wildcats might also be in line for a No. 1 ranking next season.

John Calipari added five-star power forward Bam Adebayo on Tuesday morning, followed by a commitment from five-star shooting guard Malik Monk on Wednesday morning. Monk, a 6-foot-4 guard, confirmed his commitment on Twitter, picking Big Blue Nation instead of remaining in state at Arkansas.

The duo joins point guard De'Aaron Fox, who committed last week, and forwards Wenyen Gabriel and Sacha Killeya-Jones, both of whom have signed their National Letters of Intent.

The Wildcats have previously locked up a pledge from New Zealand big man Tai Wynyard, who is expected to enroll in the middle of this year.
