Jugovic scores 27, Tenn. Tech rolls over SE Missouri 91-55
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Aleksa Jugovic nailed 7 of 11 from long range for a career-high 27 points to lead Tennessee Tech to a dominating 91-55 win over Southeast Missouri on Saturday night.
Jugovic, who played just 23 minutes, scored 25 points in the first half and made 9 of 13 from the floor for the game. Anthony Morse made 6 of 7 field goals for 15 points and Mason Ramsey chipped in 10 for the Golden Eagles. Torrance Rowe dished out a career-high 12 assists.
Tennessee Tech (13-6, 5-1 Ohio Valley Conference) shot 55 percent from the floor while limiting the Redhawks to 22-of-66 shooting.
The Golden Eagles started fast and sprinted to a 51-21 halftime advantage. They were up 76-43 midway in the second half and coasted to the win.
Trey Kellum had 18 points and Tony Anderson added 10 for the Redhawks (2-16, 0-6).
