Denzel Bowles scored 19 points and James Madison defeated Drexel 60-52 on Wednesday night.

The Dukes (16-6, 6-4 Colonial Athletic Association), who snapped a three-game skid, led 22-21 at halftime before scoring 20 of their 38 second-half points in the paint and scoring all 10 of their points off turnovers in the second half.

Drexel led 39-36 with 7:01 to play, before James Madison scored eight straight. Bowles' dunk put the Dukes on top 44-39 with 4:10 remaining.

Julius Wells added 13 points for James Madison, which had just nine turnovers, compared to 14 by Drexel (13-7, 5-5).

The Dukes missed all nine of their 3-pointers, but shot 90 percent from the free-throw line (18 of 20). The Dragons shot 35.8 percent from the floor (19 of 53) and were just 9 of 13 from the line (69.2 percent).

Gerald Colds scored 16 points and Samme Givens had 12 rebounds for Drexel.
