PRINCESS ANNE, Md. (AP) Dominique Elliott had 23 points and eight rebounds to lead Maryland-Eastern Shore over first-place Hampton 73-70 on Saturday.

Bakari Copeland's free throws capped a 7-1 run for The Hawks that made it 68-60 with 1:57 left. Reginald Johnson Jr.'s 3-pointer closed it to 70-68 with 37 seconds left, which was as close as Hampton would get.
