SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) National Player of the Week Austin McBroom scored 22 points and Eastern Washington held off a furious late rally to extend its Big Sky-best seven-game win streak with a 93-88 win over Sacramento State Thursday night.

McBroom struggled from the field, hitting just 3 of 13 field goal attempts and 3 of 10 from beyond the arc. But he was 13 of 18 from the free-throw line and distributed seven assists.

The Eagles built an 18-point lead in the first half, and led by 11 with 38 seconds left. Jeff Wu hit a 3-pointer with 17 seconds left to make it 92-88, but he missed two trey attempts to pull the Hornets closer.

Venky Jois scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for Eastern Washington (16-10, 10-4) and Felix Von Hofe added 17 points.
