Marc Egerson scored 20 points and had 14 rebounds to lead Delaware to a 79-65 victory over James Madison on Saturday. The Blue Hens (13-18, 6-12 Colonial Athletic Conference) led 39-27 at halftime and controlled the second half. They have won two of three games heading into the conference tournament, which begins on Friday in Richmond, Va. Brian Johnson went 4-for-4 from the 3-point line, finishing with 18 points. Delaware, which swept James Madison (18-13, 9-9) this season, went 11 of 24 from the 3-point line (45.8 percent). The Blue Hens took a 21-3 lead with 11:43 left in the first half, holding the Dukes without a field goal for 8:04 minutes. Delaware led 30-14 on Egerson's two free throws with 5:07 left in the first half. Juwann James scored 20 points for James Madison. Alphonso Dawson added 15 points for Delaware.
