CSU Bakersfield dumps N. Florida 77-54 behind Arlington

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Jaylin Arlington scored 18 points on 8-for-12 shooting, Dedrick Basile scored 16 and passed out six assists and Damiyne Durham chipped in 15 points sending Cal State Bakersfield past North Florida 77-54 on Saturday.

Cal State Bakersfield led 41-32 at intermission and emerged from the break to go on an 18-4 run to put the game away taking a 59-36 lead on Arlington's layup with 11:51 left. Arlington scored 7 points during the run.

Romelo Banks' early free throw gave North Florida (3-4) its only lead of the game before the Roadrunners scored seven straight.

Wajid Aminu made a 3 to pull North Florida to within 12-9, but the Roadrunners stretched the lead to 22-14 on Durham's 3 with 12:35 left before halftime.

Dallas Moore led North Florida with 19 points and was the only North Florida player in double figures.
